Kain Hazelton
is an Multi-Media Artist based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Working in almost every type of medium, yet really finding his groove Oil Painting and creating Digital Designs.
Kain uses his creative abilities to entertain, inspire, & help others escape reality through his projects. Holding an Associates of Arts Degree from GRCC. Most of the work Created by Kain is largely inspired through his everyday life experiences. As someone who tends to have an overall ‘good disposition’ on life and always ‘counts his blessings,’ Kain expresses that he is grateful and full-of-energy by incorporating very bold and bright compliments into most of his work. With newfound inspiration from completing an original piece and the positive feedback that tends to follow, it fuels Kain to continue to construct more and bigger projects.
Early on in Kain’s childhood he began receiving creative recognition for his Abstract Thinking Abilities. Competing in Destination Imagination, a competition between students around the World. Challenging their abilities from problem solving to creating medium. After taking First in both the Local and State Regions, Kain’s team ended all the way in the Global Division. His talents started becoming quickly recognized for his unique artistry. Later this lead to him blossoming as an young artist, receiving art scholarships, and having his work showcased in the debut 2015 Regional High School Visual Arts Competition and finding himself in local College Art Shows.
Following Hazelton’s early success, more opportunities soon followed after. Discovering many different creative outlets in college, Kain went from studying Visual Arts, to studying Music Theory, Graphic Design, & Film Production. Being exposed to all of these Mediums, Kain started to build relationships and begin freelance work for clients. Leading to Kain designing logos and posters for companies, painting sentimental murals for internationally recognized clients, & crafting short films for his own personal hobbies/interests.
